Oaxaca on Lockdown
One recent afternoon I took a stroll around Santo Domingo. The sky was a nice clear blue, the nearly setting sun was behind light cloud cover, and the whole area was all but deserted. Like everyone, I hope that the lively scenes of calendas and pedestrians enjoying the colonial streets, world-class cuisine, and refreshing beverages in countless cafes and bars, return soon.
